What should I wear?
White is the only color that does not work well. Otherwise,
what you wear is up to your individual tastes and style. For example,
it may be that your lifestyle has a western flair, and you might
like to reflect that look in your portrait, or you may desire a
more formal look. Let yourself have fun!
Can we bring our family pet?
Yes. Pets are an important part of our family that
brings us much happiness and friendship. You’re very welcome
to include your pet in a family portrait, or even as an individual
portrait.
Do you take black and white photos?
With digital photography any photograph can be converted
to black and white photographs. The choice is yours!
Do you touch up the photographs?
All our photographs are custom color corrected for
skin tone. However, for a nominal fee we can also swap heads, open
eyes, soften facial lines, remove blemishes, and much more!
What kind of photography do you do?
Sunriver Photography covers a broad range of photographic
needs, including in part, the following: graduating senior portraits,
individual and family portraits, family reunions, weddings, and
a variety of commercial work, including conventions, product work,
real estate, fashion layout and beauty pageants. Please feel free
to ask if you have a special project or particular photographic
need not listed.
Where will we take the photos?
We can come to your home, or we can work on location
in Bend or Sunriver. Upon special request, we can also make arrangements
for photographic sessions in other areas, including out of state.
What happens in a typical family reunion or senior
photography session?
It varies a little, but Sunriver Photography’s
goal is to make sure you are having fun. During a family reunion
photography shoot, we will take photographs of as many combinations
and configurations as you like. A graduating senior can have three
to four outfits and have photos taken in the studio and an outdoor
location. The results of both will be roughly an hour session with
75-200+ photographs to choose from and plenty of fond memories.
What is your philosophy on wedding photography?
Our goal is to make your special day fun and put you
at ease. Weddings can be busy, especially after the ceremony, so
we recommend taking most of the photographs beforehand so that you
can focus on enjoying the rest of the day. Bride and groom don’t
want to see each other before the wedding? We have some suggestions
that can make your day run more smoothly and your photos look spectacular.
How do I preview my photos?
We will give you cd’s of your photographs to
review at your leisure. If you would prefer, we can also set up
an area for your photographs in our Online Previews area of our
website. You can review all your photos and select the ones that
suit you best.
How do I order my photos?
To order your photographs, choose the file names of
the photos you want and call or email us with the print sizes you
would like. If you need us to make any special touch ups (opening
eyes, or removing unwanted objects or people), let us know when
you place your order. That’s it…we do the rest of the
heavy lifting and in a few weeks you will have your prints.
